Talking about traveling, most of you will think of a vacation for one or two weeks at the beach or some well knowen city.



What I do is different.



I am going on a trip which is not planned in advance, I have not made any bookings for flights, trains or accommodation. My journey starts from the doorstep at home. I will try to hitchhike as much as possible, going to look for volunteer work for board and lodge, put up my hammock when I wont find any couchsurfing hosts and be spontanious any time.

just before I left home

On my journey I try to find any kind of work at any place. My only requirement is that I get a place to sleep and the most importent is that I get something to eat. I find if you work with or for people from the area where you are in the moment, you will build a better relation to the people and get a better feel for the culture.

To keep to hole trip more interesting, I try to draw as much as possible. Sitting down for 1 or 2 hours to draw the moment will make you keep that moment for much longer then taking a picture with your camera or your mobile. You will capture much more details. You will find some of my work under
