HAINBURG, Austria, on the way

After leaving Vienna and not knowing where to go, I just left Vienna from the final undergraund station Seestadt and went for a hike. Seestadt is fancinating and scarry at the same time. It’s an amazing project and I am sure its smart from the City. But when I think of the fact that the city is going to extend to this size, this is when the scary part comes to me.

Back to my story of hiking and my sleeping place. As I haven’t found any couchsurfer of any other place, I put up my hammock. The fact that I have found a massive depot of farming machinery was great. The next day I kept going and got a ride to Hainburg. A very lovely city with an amazing view point which is overlooking the whole region to Bratislava and all the way to Vienna.

I was lucky to get a couchsurfing request; otherwise I would have stayed on top of Braunsberg with my hammock. Martin and his brother where so kind to host me of two nights before I started my way to Bratislava. I stayed in Bratislava for just a few hours before I went to Györ. This time I was unlucky to find a place to sleep. Therefor I went to the bar and asked around if anyone would host a stranger. I ended up going with 17-19 Year olds around the city and to the top of one of the apartment blocks to see the sunrise. Me, falling asleep while walking there couldn’t believe myself why I was doing that.

In the end I was super happy with the whole situation because it was fascinating seeing the sunrise from above the city and I also got 4 hours of sleep at the place of one of the guys.

No worries it’s going to get even better.
