RUMANIA in general and my last days

My final days I have spent in Cluj Napoca and Bucharest. I went to Cluj to visit Flavia for the last time on my journey where I also met Adrian a Designer from Cluj. We had a fantastic evening and the next day we invited me to his place to talk about further design and he also showed me some of his work. For me it was very interesting seeing someone working on his own products straight after he finished his studies and was very focused on his work.

On my way back to Bucharest I had a few rides with all different people but the best situation was where a truck driver organised me further ride with a different truck driver. I didn’t even had to stop and wait. I drove different roads from the one I have been on before which was great because I could see some of the amazing Valleys going from the North to the south through the Campanian.

Arriving in Bucharest I got the chance to stay with Claudia and had some great time with here and here housemates.  It was very short but still a good time.

After that I finally packed my stuff and where ready to hit the road again. I took the bus as far south from Bucharest and started hitch hiking. An elderly guy gave me a ride all the way to the border which I gave all my change which was not much but I thought it was nice and also useful for my further travel. I walked across the border on 2^nd October at 16:36 and crossed the border across the river at 17:00 o’clock. I was smiling and so happy that I have finally moved on but some parts of me have still remained back in Rumania with all the wonderful people I have met and the time I have spent there.

I have travelled over …. KM in 10 weeks met many many people, have seen wonderful places, got hosted and welcomed from great hosts (strangers, couchsurfers and friends I met during my volunteering work). All the bad reputation I had are gone and I see it now form a total different perspective.  I recommend everybody to go and see it them self. I would like to thank EVERYONE I have met in does 10 weeks I have been in Rumania because everyone played a great part of my journey.
