After crossing the border to Bulgaria I made it to Razgrad a town in the northern part of Bulgaria where I met great people which showed me around the town and tried to organise me a bed or couch but unfortunately we were unlucky. But I didn’t bother long and I put up my hammock in the park. The next day I didn’t had far to walk to be back on the main road leading towards Varna which was my next destination.
Mikhail
hosted me for more than a week. We had long evenings chatting about all sorts
of interesting subjects as meditation, design and much more. I had to sleep on
the floor though but it was fine he gave me a big blanked which was super soft
and I was happy with.
In does
day’s I was trying to hitch hike a boat from the sailing port and also the
cargo port where I got caught from the port police how thought I was a spy.
After a couple of hours they let me free and I focused on my drawings again.
My most
difficult journey I had from Varna to Istanbul. It took 9 rides from Varna to
the border of Bulgaria to Turkey where I had to sleep outside again. At this
place where a few houses which were all empty and locked. It was in the middle
of nowhere between some wine gardens and the forest. Only a few cares passed
and mostly in the opposite direction on the way to this place. I saw a wolf
standing on the road watching me walking towards him but he left into the woods
as I came closer. It was twilight at the time I arrived and it was windy as hell.
The place was spooky and I didn’t had any other chance then sleeping under the
porch roof of one of the buildings. Luckily there was a little fireplace where
I could make myself a little fire. I was actually a little scared because of
wild animals but I could fall asleep as I was super tired. The next morning I
started early and got a ride which took me to the border. I walked cross the
border from Bulgaria and Turkey and on the other side they picked me up again.
