SIAM REAP / ANGKOR WAT, Cambodia

Siam Reap / Angkor

After some long traveling from Koh Lanta to Siam Reap passed Bangkok we arrived at the temple city Angkor. A place, where nightlife and modern life meets 100ts of year’s history. Angkor is a wide spread area where dozens of temples where build in the ancient time. Some are well kept some are overgrown and taken back from the nature and some are just forgotten. We have taken the mountain bikes to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat and went further to explore different Temples all over the place. We went through forests and fields saw kids letting the dragons fly and people heads sticking out from the rise fields who are working. Stefan and I went down that area again without paying the entrance fee and went constantly over the back roads to the temples.

The City itself is not very nice and you get constantly asked for Tuck Tuck, Marihuana and some Girls which give you massage with happy endings. It’s a bit irritating but overall you can get over it. The massage without happy ending was also great and the Tuck Tuck driver from the Bus station to the Hotel was also very nice.
