INLE LAKE, Myanmar

We arrived after a long ride with lots of turns in the night bus through the Mountains an hour earlier at the Bus station in Nyaungshwe. We made our way to find the hostel we were recommended. It took a while until we find a person how have heard of it and gave us the right direction. We met a German couple on the way and had some breakfast with them. We got some Samosas fresh from the kitchen which was on the street. After checking in we took a nap for two hours before we went off to organise our boat trip for the next day and went to the Vinery which was based further out of the town. Back home we got a ride from a drunken men. Luckely we got home safe.

We had an early morning to go to the lake with the boat. We travelled through floating Gardens and Villages in the water.  It was such a relaxing and energy giving place. As the lake was embedded between hills either site. Stefan and I made our way out to some of the hills for a hike before we took the night bus to Yangon to catch the flight back to Bangkok.
